Celebrating healthful food at Fifty South Restaurant

Fifty South Restaurant and Bar is offering some unique dining opportunities there on Route 50 in Ballston Spa. Nov. 7, the Saratoga/Glens Falls Celiac Support Group is coming to dinner to support that the restaurant is now certified gluten-free. 

Nov. 8, Fifty South will serve another raw food dinner. The restaurant does this on the second Thursday of every month.

“The educator is Johanna, and she has a wealth of knowledge about raw food and its effects on the human body, mind, and spirit,” said owner Kim Klopstock. “She also gives classes in this type of cuisine. 

“I will be talking to Michael Kilpatrick of Kilpatrick Farm,” she continued. “He spent a summer with Joel Salatin at Polyface Farm, and will be coming here to dine and then give a talk about his experience, what it meant to him, and how it has affected his farming vision.”
