Chianti now taking reservations for the first time in 13 years

SARATOGA SPRINGS — After 13 years and numerous locations, Chianti il Ristorante is finally offering reservations for the first time.

Formerly located on South Broadway, Chianti has spent several years at its current location at 18 Division Street, where guests would have to arrive well before 7 p.m. to guarantee a table. Others just crossed their fingers and sat back for several cocktails at the bar as they waited for their name to be called on the long list of hungry diners.

As one of the community's (and my own) favorite fine-dining spots in downtown Saratoga, Chianti's new reservation system is sure to be welcomed with open arms.

According to Chianti staff, the restaurant launched its live reservation system through OpenTable.com on July 27. Customers can now make reservations several ways: by phone (584-0025), or using the Open Table application on their Facebook page, as well as on the regular Open Table website.
