The Post-Star recently reported that the Old Navy store in the Aviation Mall in Queensbury is closing this month, begging the question: Will shoppers to the north of Spa City make the trek down to the Wilton Mall to shop there?

Old Navy employees in Wilton said company policy prohibited them from speculating about whether they might see an impact.

The clothing chain is owned by Gap, Inc., which has more than 3,100 stores nationwide including all of its brands — Old Navy, Gap and Banana Republic.
